The Cup
Brand Identity
The Cup is an entertainment venue where family and friends gather to eat, drink, and compete. Topgolf hosts a range of games for serious golfers and non-golfers alike. We developed an identity for The Cup that overlaps the patina of classic golf ephemera, the technical language of gaming, and the progressive tone of a golf establishment founded in 2020. A design system incorporating illustration, photography, and paintings that reference 1960’s golf magazines combine to create a whole new reality for The Cup. The system was applied to signage, web design, print collateral, and social assets. This project was a Judge's Choice for the Type Director's Club.
